About Us

Farrendale has been established for 10 years and in this time we have catered for all aspects of housing. Since our formation in 2001, the domestic market has accounted for around 95% of our overall work sector.

During this time we have undertaken electrical installations to many thousands of properties which range from full rewires and upgrades on "Decent Homes" projects to changing sockets and lights on responsive maintenance contracts. We have simultaneously carried out these types of works at multiple locations across Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Yorkshire.

In early 2009 we broadened our work scope by diversifying into the area of Environmental works. This work includes the removal and reinstatement of fencing, renewal of concrete paths, renewal or construction of driveways and dropped kerbs, paving, laying turf and tarmac work. We now have two long term contracts running simultaneously for local authorities in Nottingham and Scunthorpe.

Recognising the needs of large projects such as Decent Homes, we have created a network of local Branches to enable us to source local labour and use local suppliers. Each of our Branches comprises of offices and stores. Together with a solid management infrastructure, we are capable of delivering on either a large regional scale or more locally focalised.

It is our belief that investment in people at a local level is key to building a sustainable community.
